Municipal officials in Inverness Co. say they have a draft of the county’s strategic plan completed.
Betty Ann MacQuarrie, Warden, says they’re ready to for some changes.
She says she can’t comment on specifics- but generally speaking, they need a focus on accountability.
MacQuarrie tells The Hawk they’ve been busy making important modifications.
“We revised our vision and we also changed our mission statement,” she says. “Our values are basically the same; we listed them according to how each of us thought what was most important.”
MacQuarrie says the integrity piece covers a lot of territory- that’s the priority.
She says the plan should be ready for the new CAO- expected to be hired by middle of next month.
