The Strait Pirates are on the road for a mid-week Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League matchup.
They’re in Liverpool to take on the Privateers.
The pirates are fourth in the five-team Sid Rowe division with 21 points- 9 behind the Bulldogs for third and 18 points ahead of Cumberland Co. in last; the Privateers are fourth in the six-team Fred Fox division with 36 points, one point behind Valley for third and nine points ahead of Sackville for fifth.
Puck drop in Liverpool is 7:30 p.m.
The StFX basketball teams are on home court to take on Dal.
The X-Women have lost all 12 of their games this season; they’re in eighth and last place, 10 points behind Dal.
The men’s team is fifth in the eight-team conference; they’re 12 points behind Dal in top spot.
The women tip off at 6 p.m. at the Oland Centre; the men get underway at 8 p.m.
