There’s one game on the local sports schedule.
The Inverness/Baddeck Academy Rebels host the Eskasoni Warriors in the opening game of their first-round, two-game total goal series in the Cape Breton West High School Hockey League playoffs.
The Rebels (9-10-1) finished the regular season fourth in the six-team league with 27 points, two points ahead of the fifth-place Warriors (9-11-0).
Eskasoni, playing for the second time in as many days after a 9-7 home loss to Cape Breton Highlands Academy/NDA Monday night, won three of the four games in the season series between the teams.
Puck drop at the Dr. Bernie MacLean Cultural and Recreation Centre is 4:30 p.m.
The series shifts to Eskasoni for game two Wednesday night.
The winner advances to face Cape Breton Highlands Academy/NDA in one league semi-final; Dalbrae and Richmond Academy meet in the other semi-final.
