The Antigonish Rural League playoffs resume with a pair of games.
The Pleasantdale Panthers play the Heatherton Warriors at 7 p.m.
The Panthers lead the best-of-seven, first-round series 3-1, and can advance to the league final with a game five win.
The County Outlaws, who lead their series 3-1, take on the St. Croix Angels in game five at 8:30 p.m.
Both games are at the Antigonish Arena.
St. Andrews’ Declan Smith and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles play the first of back-to-back home games against the Charlottetown Islanders in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The Screaming Eagles (29-27-7), who have won three of their last four, are 12th in the 18-team league with 65 points, six points behind Gatineau for 11th, and two points ahead of 13th-place Baie-Comeau; the Islanders (34-23-6) are ninth with 74 points.
Cape Breton has a slight 4-3 edge in the season series.
Puck drop at Centre 200 in Sydney is 7 p.m.
The teams face off again in Sydney Saturday night.

The X-Women’s Hayley Wilson, who is from Skye Glen, is taking part in the triple jump Saturday.
Allie Flower is competing in the women’s 300m race at 6:50 p.m. Friday; the X-Men’s Angus Rawling is in the men’s 3,000m at 7:50 p.m.
