Two people facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Inverness Co. are scheduled to return to court Monday.
RCMP say members of the Inverness-Richmond District Street Crime Enforcement Unit laid the charges after they stopped a car on Rte. 19 in Port Hastings in June.
They say they arrested an Antigonish man and a Port Hastings woman after they seized roughly 50 grams of cocaine.
Police originally charged Gabriel Chaisson, 41, and Carol Taylor, 41, with trafficking cocaine and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
The pair, who made their first appearance in the case the day after their arrests, were expected for sentencing in February; those hearings were adjourned.
Chaisson and Taylor are expected to have a date set for their trial in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court.
