A man from Inverness Co. killed in a collision on Hwy. 104 in Pictou Co. has been identified.
RCMP say the two-vehicle crash between a pick-up truck and a motorcycle happened in Telford at roughly 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Conrad DeGruchy, 52, of Port Hastings, who was driving the motorcycle, died; his partner, 35, who was a passenger, was taken to Halifax hospital in critical condition.
The two people in the truck weren’t hurt.
That section of Hwy. 104 was closed for several hours as police investigated.
DeGruchy was a father of three boys, including a nine-month-old; a GoFundMe account for family members has surpassed $10,000.
