Close to 300 students are set to graduate from the Nova Scotia Community College Strait Area Campus.
The campus’ convocation ceremony is part of 21 NSCC celebrations happening across the province; it takes place the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Keisha Price-Pierro, an office administration student, has been selected by her fellow 2018 grads to represent them as their valedictorian.
A number of awards recognized student achievement and success will be presented during the ceremony.
Natalie MacMaster, a renowned fiddler and Troy native, and Albert Marshall, a Mi’kmaq elder, will receive honorary diplomas.
