There will be a temporary closure of an emergency department in the Quad Counties.
The ER at the Guysborough Memorial Hospital will shut down at 6 a.m. Wednesday, and re-open at 8 a.m. Friday.
Officials with the Nova Scotia Health Authority say the reason for the temporary closure is physician unavailability.
You’re asked to go to another ER or call 911 with a medical emergency during the upcoming closure; you can call 811 for any non-urgent issues.
