Quebec Major Junior Hockey League training camps will be populated Cape Breton West Islander players and alumni.
Three of the Forty-eight players set to attend the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles Camp beginning Thursday are Islanders.
Veteran St. Andrew’s Delcan Smith, free agent goalie Ryan Miller of Inverness and Port Hawkesbury’s Matthew Raike who was invited to camp will be in Sydney.
The other provincial team, Halifax Mooseheads will host Ewan MacDonald.
Stephen Fox and Sean Stewart head to Moncton to team up with Stewart’s cousin, Jake Stewart and Jacob Hudson who are in the Wildcats line-up.
Dell Welton will travel to Charlottetown.
There will be a lot of familiar faces in Rimouski with Jack Morris, Calum MacPherson and Mathew Ellis who joins his brother, veteran Colten Ellis.
Their cousin Chase Ellis will get some ice time in Drummondville.
Camps continue throughout the weekend.
