One of the three women killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Antigonish Co. has been identified.
The crash happened on Hwy. 104 in Dagger Woods- one kilometre east of the divided highway- just before 4 p.m. Saturday.
There was heavy rain at the time.
A woman from Antigonish Co. was one of two people in a 2018 Chevy Equinox who were taken to St. Martha’s in Antigonish; Debbie Grant, 60, was pronounced dead in hospital, while the other person remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 67-year-old woman and 36-year-old woman, both from Victoria Co., were travelling in a 2006 Honda Civic; they were pronounced dead at the scene.
That section of Hwy. 104 was closed for roughly six hours.
