The Antigonish Bulldogs are home against a divisional opponent in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League.
They host the Cumberland Co. Blues.
The Bulldogs (13-11-0) are tied with Pictou Co. for third in the Sid Rowe Division with 26 points, seven points behind the Miners for second, and 11 points ahead of fifth-place Eskasoni; the Blues (3-22-0) are last with six points.
Dave Synishin, Antigonish’s head coach, tells The Hawk they want to continue to improve as the season winds down.
“At the end of the day, our focus is really getting better- there’s not too many games left in the regular season, (we’re) closing in on playoffs, so there’s some things we have to tidy up and get more consistent with,” he says. “It’ll be one of those games, I think, that we just have to stay focused and work hard.”
The Bulldogs have won the first two games in the four-game season series by a combined score of 21-4.
Puck drop at the Antigonish Arena is 7:30 p.m.
It’s the Bulldogs’ only game of the weekend.
