Antigonish man pleads not guilty to drug charges

A 59-year old Antigonish man has pleaded not guilty to charges in relation to a drug bust at a home in the Beaverbrook Trailer Park.

Anthony Curtis Upshaw returned to court Wednesday for an election and plea hearing facing charges of drug possession and trafficking after the October bust.

Police say members of the Antigonish Guysborough RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash during their search.

Upshaw is scheduled for trial in October.
