Health services are getting a boost in Quad County schools.

Public Health representatives made a presentation to principles during a meeting last month.

At Wednesday night's regular monthly school board meeting, Superintendent Jack Beaton said planning is in the works.

"There will be an overall enhancement of services, I don't think they have worked out all the details of that but they do have some more resources, some more time to put in the schools," he said. "We are working with them now to work out when and where that may be."

Beaton said there has always been a presence of public health through school health centers, special presentations and support for influenza break outs.
