Men charged in connection with Antigonish pharmacy robbery

Police say they've made arrests in relation to a string of robberies in the province, including one at an Antigonish pharmacy.

According to RCMP, a man entered the Haliburton Pharma-Choice on Main Street at roughly 1:35 p.m. on May 17, showed an employee a gun in his waistband and demanded narcotics.

Cape Breton Regional Police say that while investigating robberies in Glace Bay and Sydney, the information uncovered connected suspects to incidents in Antigonish, Bible Hill and Lower Sackville.

Police say the four men charged (Bryan Joseph Conron, Glenn Thomas Perry, George Thomas MacIsaac, and Allen Herman Brown) are all from Glace Bay.

They appeared in court on Thursday afternoon.

Nova Scotia RCMP, Halifax Regional Police and Cape Breton Regional Police continue to investigate.
