Complainant in Fenwick-MacIntosh case wants action from federal government

A complainant of Ernest Fenwick-MacIntosh wants to see more action from the federal government.

Weldon MacIntosh-Reynolds says recent news made him want to re-open the discussion.

He says a settlement is deserved for those who have suffered.

Macintosh-Reynolds tells The Hawk he's speaking up following the Omar Khadr settlement.

"The only reason I started on this again is because I don't agree on what the federal government did with all this money," he says. "For, you know, a terrorist."

MacIntosh-Reynolds says he also wants to see a federal inquiry into the case.

He says the government admitted wrong-doing in the investigation...

MacIntosh-Reynolds says along with another complainant, Bob Martin, they're starting an online petition to start an inquiry and show MacIntosh's face online along with a brief description as a warning.

He says they're looking to lawyers to file a suit against government; and if they can't find someone, he will do it himself.
