Antigonish Co. robbery suspect has case adjourned

One of two people facing charges following a robbery at a convenience store in Antigonish Co. is scheduled to return to court next week.

Anthony Dorsey, 37, and April Murnaghan, 28, were arrested in the Toronto area earlier this month; they're both from Lower South River.

They both face robbery charges.

They had show cause hearings in Antigonish Provincial Court last Wednesday.

Dorsey was denied bail; he's expected for an election-and-plea hearing September 6th.

Murnaghan was granted bail; she'll return to court for her election-and-plea hearing next month.

Police say three people robbed a Lower South River store in May.

They say one man jumped over the counter, demanded cash from the only employee in the store and the three took off.
