Hi! I'm Kelly. You can listen to my show each weekday from 10am until 2pm. And on Sunday mornings at 9am, I host our 2 hour east coast music show called East Coast Rising.

I've been at the Hawk since before I could shave. Technically that could be about a year but I started in a smaller capacity when I was about 11, began on-air at age 16.

I'm one of the new additions to the Hawk team, keeping you company Monday to Friday after 6pm.

This is my first full time radio job. I'm a recent graduate of the Radio and Television Arts program at the NSCC Waterfront Campus in Dartmouth. You may have also heard me on 89.3 K-Rock in New Minas where I was part of the street team. And I've also showcased some of my production work when I worked temporarily at Z 103.5 in Halifax.

Lets get right to it- I started my broadcast career here in 1998, when I was a student at Antigonish East High School. I did whatever work they would give me while I finished high school and started a political science/history degree at Dalhousie University. After Dal, I did a journalism degree at the University of Kings College.

Hello Quad Counties! I hope you have room for a city slicker like me. I was born in St. John's Newfoundland but I've lived most of my life in Dartmouth.

Chuck was employed at 1410 CIGO in the early 80's and left to complete his education in 1985.

Mike can be heard weekends on 1015 The Hawk.  A B.C. native, he now makes his home in Judique and makes his radio debut on The Hawk

Radio has been in my blood for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories come from when I was 5 or 6 and had a radio station in my bedroom where I would record myself introducing songs and making commercials. I was even known to have my babysitter as a special guest on the “Trading Post”. 

I'd say I'm the newest addition to the staff and am still learning a few things everyday. Honestly, this is a great job. The people and environment here make it a wonderful place to work.

I'm a Judiquer, it was there that I got my start with public speaking through my school (Judique-Creignish Consolidated) and church. I had great teachers who encouraged me to get involved with school and community activities.

I joined The Hawk (when it was CIGO) in 1979 and have been here ever since. My career started on-air and I eventually became General Manager and then in 1994 my wife Brenda and I bought the station. (Brenda has worked here since 1984).
