Hi! I'm Kelly. I'm orginally from the Annapolis Valley but have called Cape Breton home since 2000.

I live with 5 boys, 4 of them have paws.

I've been at the Hawk since before I could shave. Technically that could be about a year but I started in a smaller capacity when I was about 11, began on-air at age 16.

I'm your stereotypical city boy hanging out in the Quad Counties and loving every minute of it. I grew up in Winnipeg and moved to Dartmouth when I was 13. 

Hey it's Greg, that guy from Scottie O and Greg who's not Scottie O. I was born and raised in the Quad Counties (a proud grad of Antigonish East High School), then moved to the big city for a few years. I went to Dalhousie and Kings, worked at some radio stations in Halifax for about five years, and I was happy to come home in 2009. Sue and I have two beautiful girls, Kate and Lucy, who are the absolute best part of our lives.

What can I say, you guys are awesome. I've been living in Port Hawkesbury and working in the news room at The Hawk since March 2010 and I already feel like I am part of the family. I grew up in Dartmouth, so coming to the Quad Counties from the city was a big shock. But now I feel right at home. 

Chuck was employed at 1410 CIGO in the early 80's and left to complete his education in 1985.

You can catch me from time to time filling in here on The Hawk and on various commercials you hear on the station.

My claims to fame are doing my first on-air shift before I was old enough to obtain my drivers license and being longest on air personality at the station besides Bob MacEachern and Paul Davis!

This is a great job. The people and environment here make it a wonderful place to work.

I'm a Judiquer, it was there that I got my start with public speaking through my school (Judique-Creignish Consolidated) and church. I had great teachers who encouraged me to get involved with school and community activities.

I joined The Hawk (when it was CIGO) in 1979 and have been here ever since. My career started on-air and I eventually became General Manager and then in 1994 my wife Brenda and I bought the station. (Brenda has worked here since 1984).
