Saint F-X is out with its athletes of the week awards and both are from AUS championship teams.

The women's award went to rugby prop Asya Bartley...a second year student from Ottawa.

She was named the MVP in the X-Women's title win over Saint Mary's on the weekend.

She has also been named an AUS all-star.

And the best male athlete last week was cross-country runner David Gerych.

The fourth year foreign exchange student was instrumental in leading the X-Men to a second consecutive A-U-S championship banner, placing 2nd overall in the 10-K with a time of 32:25.

The Czech Republic native also earned all-star recognition.
