A recount of the Inverness by-election is going ahead.

Liberal candidate Ian McNeil says the recount will take place at the Port Hawkesbury courthouse on Monday.

McNeil says the request was approved last week.

He says they should have the results by the end of the day Monday.

McNeil lost to Tory Allan MacMaster by 50 votes in the October 20th by-election.
