Some changes have been made to Nova Scotia's H1N1 vaccination program.
Two new groups have been added to the list of people eligible to receive the vaccine.
Children 19 or younger with chronic medical conditions and couples who have just given birth will now be able to get vaccinated.
The four groups that include pregnant women, children under 5, people living on First Nations communities and health care workers will still be eligible to be immunized.
The announcement was made Thursday by the Chief Public Health Officer, Doctor Robert Strang.
A drop in clinic turnout today combined with an expected shipment of 52-thousand doses of the vaccine next week will make more vaccine available. |
