2 Pounds of marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia have been seized in the Cheticamp Area.

Members of the Inverness and Richmond County Street Crime Units assisted the R-C-M-P's Sydney Drug Section in executing a search warrant yesterday.

A 62-year-old Point Cross man was arrested during the raid and later released.

He is due in court on January 20th on 3 charges; possession with the purpose of trafficking, unsafe storage of firearms and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police continue to investigate.
