A man who pleaded guilty in relation to a drug bust in Port Hawkesbury has had his case adjourned.
Avery John Sutherland, 23, of Antigonish was charged with a single count of possession for the purpose of trafficking after a Reeves St. traffic stop in January.
He elected a judge-only trial in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in April; he was scheduled for a preliminary inquiry in September, but instead entered a guilty plea.
Sutherland was scheduled for sentencing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Monday; instead, the hearing was adjourned until Dec. 18.
It was also adjourned in October.
