Richmond Co.’s warden says he’s pleased they have a chief administrative officer in place.
Kent MacIntyre started Jan. 1; he takes over following Louis Digout’s interim tenure.
Brian Marchand, Warden, has said he hopes MacIntyre would be able to settle some of the controversy down.
After Monday night’s county council meeting, Marchand told The Hawk things are off to a good start.
“I think things are going good, it’s going to take him some time to,” he said. “It is definitely a different profession from what he was previously doing, so it’ll take him time to get to know some of the people.”
Marchand said MacIntyre will be trying to meet many of those people in and out of the office.
He said it’s looking good now, but time will tell.
