The StFX men’s hockey team will try to even their playoff series when they host the Acadia Axemen in game two.
Acadia took the opener of the best-of-five AUS semi-final by a score of 4-2 in Antigonish Thursday night.
After the game, Brad Peddle, the head coach of the X-Men, told The Hawk they can’t afford to dwell on their loss in game one.
“We need to learn from this what we’ve got to do better,” he said. “Like I said to the guys, one thing about playoff hockey, you’ve got to reset quick, you don’t have time to worry about things- (you need) short memories.”
Puck drop at the Keating Centre in Antigonish is 7 p.m.
The series shifts to Wolfville for game three Sunday night.
