The Antigonish Bulldogs will try to finish off the Pictou Co. Scotians on the road in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League playoffs.
The Bulldogs won the first three games in the best-of-seven, Sid Rowe Division semi-final series, but the Scotians stayed alive with a game four win in Antigonish Tuesday night.
Dave Synishin, Antigonish’s head coach, tells The Hawk they want to finish off Pictou Co. sooner rather than later.
“You always want to get the series done as quickly as possible, but we know what type of team they are, and I’m sure they’ll have a full complement of players,” he says. “We opened the door a little bit for them, so their foot’s in there right now, but we just really have to concrete on how we play the game and the consistency of our work ethic.”
Puck drop at the Trenton Arena is 7 p.m.
A Bulldogs’ win moves them to the Sid Rowe Division final against the Miners, while a Scotians’ win sends the series back to Antigonish for game six Friday night.
