A former MLA from the Quad Counties has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia.
Michel Samson was appointed last week.
The foundation’s mission is to build strong, vibrant and diverse communities across the province by enabling and inspiring effective philanthropy.
Samson, who spent 19 years as the MLA for Richmond and then Cape Breton-Richmond when the boundaries of the riding changed, started working for the Cox and Palmer legal firm in Halifax following his defeat in the May provincial election.
