The host Antigonish Bulldogs continue play at the 2018 Midget AA hockey provincials.
Five teams are taking part at the tournament, which got underway at the Antigonish Arena Friday morning; the Bulldogs tied with Truro in their opening game, then beat Halifax in their second game.
Antigonish takes on the TASA Ducks at 9:30 a.m., then play their fourth and final round-robin game against the Cape Breton Co. Islanders at 1:30 p.m.
The top two teams advance to the championship game Sunday morning.
The Cape Breton West Islanders resume action at the 2018 Female Midget AA hockey provincials in St. Margaret’s Bay.
The Islanders opened the five-team tournament with a win against the Metro East Inferno Friday, then beat the Colchester Co. Cyclones.
They meet Metro West at 8:30 a.m., then play the Pictou Co. Selects in their fourth and final round-robin game at 4 p.m.

The Antigonish Bantam A Bulldogs are in the 2018 Day of Champions in Truro.
The Bulldogs, who beat the Glace Bay Miners to win the North Conference championship March 25, face the Sackville Flyers in a one-game showdown for the provincial title.

Antigonish’s Blade Mann-Dixon and the Halifax Mooseheads host the Charlottetown Islanders in game two of their Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoff series.
The Islanders won the opening game of the best-of-seven, second-round series Friday night in overtime.
Puck drop at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax is 7 p.m.
The series shifts to Charlottetown for game three Tuesday night.

Angus Rawling, a runner with the X-Men, is taking part in the 2018 World University Cross Country Championship in Switzerland.
Rawling, the reigning AUS individual cross country champion, won the U Sports track and field 3,000m race in March.
He’s one of 10 athletes on the Canadian roster, and the only Atlantic representative.
