A suspect charged in relation to a drug bust in Port Hawkesbury is scheduled to return to court in June.
RCMP say they searched a home in the town, and seized oxycodone, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia in July 2017.
Darlene Bowen, 54, has been charged with possession of oxycodone and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Bowen, who elected to be tried by judge and jury in Nova Scotia Supreme Court during an election-and-plea hearing in March, was committed to stand trial following her preliminary inquiry in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Tuesday.
She’s expected back in court to have a date set for her trial June 15.
A man, 54, arrested in the bust was not charged.
