The Little Anse Hawks play their second game in as many nights in the Richmond Amateur Baseball Association.
Little Anse is coming off a 6-3 win in Port Hawkesbury Wednesday night; they host the Petit-de-Grat Red Caps.
The Hawks (3-4) are tied with Port Hawkesbury for third in the six-team league- two-and-a-half games behind Isle Madame and Inverness; they’re tied for top spot, and a half-game ahead of fifth-place Petit-de-Grat (2-4).
The teams have met once so far; Petit-de-Grat defeated Little Anse 16-6 in June.
First pitch at the Petit-de-Grat Ballfield is 6 p.m.
Four local teams are involved in three Highland Soccer League games.
Strait United is in Stellarton to take on Northern Nova United in the U17 girls division.
It’s the first league game for both teams.
The Antigonish Celtics (0-1-1) are in Amherst to face Fundy United (0-0) in U15 girls action.
The Antigonish Celtics host Strait United in U13 girls soccer.
The teams have played one league game each, which was against each other; Antigonish won 13-0 in Port Hawkesbury in June.
All three games get underway at 6:30 p.m.
