Defenceman Aaron Johnson has signed a one-year contract with the Sheffield Steelers of the Elite Ice Hockey League – EIHL.
35-year-old Johnson is a veteran of 291 career NHL games with the Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Islanders, Chicago Blackhawks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins.
He spent the last two seasons in the German DEL for Adler Mannheim
