The St. Peter’s Royals host the Isle Madame Mariners in the Richmond Amateur Baseball Association.
The Mariners (10-6) are second in the six-team league, a game behind Inverness for top spot, and a game-and-a-half ahead of third-place Little Anse; the Royals (6-9) are fourth, two games behind Little Anse for third, and a half-game ahead of Petit-de-Grat and Port Hawkesbury, who are tied for fifth.
It’s the third game in the four-game season series between the teams- they split a double-header in Petit-de-Grat in July.
First pitch at the St. Peter’s Ballfield is 6 p.m.
The teams meet again in St. Peter’s Thursday night.
The Antigonish Celtics visit Cape Breton in the Nova Scotia Soccer League’s U17A boys division.
The Celtics (4-5-1) are fifth in the eight-team division with 13 points, two points behind Bedford for fourth, and two points ahead of sixth-place United DFC; Cape Breton (7-2-2) is second with 23 points.
The teams have met once so far; Antigonish won 1-0 at home in June.
