The Mayor of Mulgrave says he’s hopeful they’ll find some tenants for the former Mulgrave Memorial Education Centre.
The P-6 school shut down for good following the end of the 2017-18 school year, town officials assumed ownership of the building shortly after.
After Monday night’s regular town council meeting, Mulgrave Mayor Ralph Hadley said they’ve had some interest, but nothing concrete at this point.
“People inquiring but nothing confirming that they were %100 interested in looking for it,” he says. “Just asking questions and its still real early yet.”
Hadley said time is on their side.
He said they hope to know more regarding possible tenants in the coming months.
