The Antigonish Bulldogs play their second game in as many nights in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League.
The Bulldogs (3-0-0), coming off a win against Cumberland Co. in Antigonish Friday night, meet the Miners (1-0-1) in Membertou.
Puck drop is 7:30 p.m.
The Cape Breton West Islanders are on the road for a pair of weekend games in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League.
They’re in Berwick to take on the Valley Wildcats.
The Islanders (3-1-1) are second in the eight-team league with seven points, a point behind Cole Harbour for top spot, and a point ahead of South Shore and Dartmouth, the two teams tied for third; the Wildcats (2-3-0) are sixth with four points.
It’s the third game between the teams- they split a weekend series in Berwick to open the season in September.
Game time is 7 p.m.
Cape Breton West visits Dartmouth Sunday afternoon.
The Cabot Highlanders play their first-ever home game in the Nova Scotia Minor Midget AAA Hockey League.
The first-year Highlanders (0-2-0) host the Basin Armada (0-3-0), who edged the Highlanders 1-0 in Bedford Sunday afternoon.
Puck drop at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre is 6:30 p.m.
The province’s two Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams are in action.
The Halifax Mooseheads, who won in Chicoutimi Friday night, play their second game in as many nights when they visit the Baie-Comeau Drakkar at 5 p.m.
St. Andrews’ Declan Smith and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (3-3-0) host the Gatineau Olympiques (4-2-0) at Centre 200 in Sydney at 7 p.m.
The StFX cross country teams are in Fredericton for an AUS meet.
The X-Men and X-Women, who have both won their first two meets of the 2018 season, are competing in the UNB/STU Invitational.
The women start at 12 p.m.; the men’s race gets underway at 12:45 p.m.
