One of the four people charged in relation to a fight at a local high school has had her case referred to the province’s Restorative Justice program.
SAERC officials say an incident involving four students and a parent took place at the school in May.
RCMP charged four people in total- April Jamieson, 37, Cailey Jamieson, 18, and two other young people who can’t be identified because of their age.
Another woman was served notice to stay away from the school.
April Jamieson has been charged with two assault counts, Cailey Jamieson faces a charge of causing a disturbance by fighting, one youth has been charged with a single count of assault, while another faces a count of causing a disturbance by fighting.
One of the two young people who can’t be identified because of their ages has been sent to Restorative Justice, and is expected back for a status update Dec. 17; the other had Tuesday’s election-and-plea hearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court adjourned until Oct. 29.
It was also adjourned in September.
Cailey Jamieson is also expected for election-and-plea Oct. 29; April Jamieson, who pleaded not guilty to her charges in September, is scheduled to stand trial Feb. 20.
