The Strait Pirates finish off a home-and-home series when they host the Cole Harbour Colts in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League.
The Pirates (5-1-1) lead the Sid Rowe Division with 11 points, a point up on second-place Antigonish.
The Colts (3-3-0), who are tied for fourth in the Fred Fox Division with six points, won Wednesday night’s game between the teams in Cole Harbour 3-2 in overtime.
Taylor Lambke, the head coach of the Pirates, tells The Hawk they don’t need to change much this time around.
“They got a couple lucky bounces and obviously they won the game, but (we’ll) continue to forecheck hard, put pressure on their defence, and keep playing the way we’ve been playing,” he says. “Wednesday night’s game, we played well, we just didn’t get the breaks, but tonight, if we play the same way, I’ll think we’ll get a win.”
Puck drop at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre is 7:30 p.m.
