The StFX men’s hockey team hosts the Moncton Blue Eagles in AUS action.
The X-Men (4-2-2), who have won three straight and four of their last five, are third in the seven-team conference with 10 points, a point behind Saint Mary’s for second, and three points ahead of fourth-place Moncton (3-3-1).
Brad Peddle, StFX’s head coach, tells The Hawk they’re pretty familiar with the Blue Eagles after two games against them already.
“(They’re) much-improved from (the 2017-18 season) from the goaltending on out- (they have) a very good goaltender- and a good, mobile defense, and more speed up front,” he says. “They’re a tough team to play against, they certainly play typical Moncton hockey- fast and skilled.”
The teams split the first two games.
