The StFX men’s hockey team has a rare Tuesday night AUS game.
They host the Saint Mary’s Huskies.
The X-Men (5-2-2), winners of four straight and five of their last six, are third in the seven-team conference with 12 points, three points behind Saint Mary’s (7-1-1) and UNB, who are tied for top spot, and two points ahead of fourth-place Moncton.
The Huskies have won the first two games in the five-game season series, both by one goal.
Brad Peddle, StFX’s head coach, tells The Hawk he expects another tight game between the rivals.
“(These are) two teams that usually end up playing a pretty good game, very competitive,” he says. “That goes back years (and) this year the trend continues.”
