Hockey Nova Scotia has unveiled its female roster that will represent the province at next year’s Canada Winter Games.
Twenty players including several from the Quad Counties will be part of the Nova Scotia`s Canada Winter Games female hockey team.
The blue line will include Ella MacLean of Antigonish and Nicole MacNeil from Sydney who plays with the Cape Breton Panthers of the Female Major Midget Hockey League.
Up front, Team Nova Scotia will be represented by forwards Landyn Pitts and Kara MacLean of Antigonish as well as Panthers` Erin Denny of Eskasoni and Glace Bay`s Aimee O’Neill.
The bench will include Assistant coach Shauna Neary also of Antigonish.
The 2019 Canada Winter Games female hockey tournament will be held from Feb. 23 to Mar. 2 in Red Deer, Alta.
