A man arrested following a vehicle stop in Antigonish Co. has entered a guilty plea in the case.
Police say officers arrested a man and a woman during an Aulds Cove stop in Nov. 2017.
They say they seized dexamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
RCMP charged Logan Brophy, 25, of Mulgrave and Kristin Smith, 26, from Frankville with possession for the purpose of trafficking; they pleaded not guilty.
They were scheduled to stand trial in Antigonish Provincial Court Monday; instead, Brophy pleaded guilty to possession, and was sentenced to two years’ probation.
The Crown called no evidence against Smith, and her charge was dismissed.
