A suspect charged in relation to a pair of drug busts in Port Hawkesbury has pleaded guilty to one count.
RCMP say they searched a home in the town, and seized oxycodone, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia in July 2017.
Darlene Bowen, 54, of Embree Island had been charged with possession of oxycodone and possession for the purpose of trafficking; a man, 54, arrested in the bust was not charged.
Police say members of the Inverness/Richmond RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit made arrests in an opioid trafficking investigation in the Port Hawkesbury area in August.
Bowen faced a count of trafficking oxycodone in that case.
She pleaded guilty to a single count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Port Hawkesbury Friday; she’s expected to return to court for sentencing April 5.
