One of the four people charged in relation to a fight at a local high school is expected back in court Monday.
SAERC officials say an incident involving four students and a parent took place at the school in May.
RCMP charged four people in total- April Jamieson, 37, Cailey Jamieson, 18, and two other young people who can’t be identified because of their age.
Another woman was served notice to stay away from the school.
April Jamieson has been charged with two assault counts, Cailey Jamieson faces a charge of causing a disturbance by fighting, one youth has been charged with a single count of assault, while another faces a count of causing a disturbance by fighting.
One of the two young people who can’t be identified because of their ages charged with assault had her case sent to Restorative Justice in October; she’s scheduled for a status update in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court.
The other youth, who has been charged with causing a disturbance by fighting, was also referred to Restorative Justice in October; she’s expected for a status hearing Jan. 28.
April Jamieson, who pleaded not guilty to her charges in September, is scheduled to stand trial Feb. 20; Cailey Jamieson, who entered a not guilty plea in October, is expected for trial March 7.
