The Cape Breton West Islanders host Pictou Co. in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League.
The Islanders (10-14-1), who have lost back-to-back games and four of the last five, are fifth in the eight-team league with 21 points, eight points behind Dartmouth and the Valley, the two teams tied for third, and three points ahead of sixth-place South Shore.
Pictou Co. (7-15-0), who has won three of the first four games in the seven-game season series between the teams, is last with 14 points.
Puck drop at the Al MacInnis Sports Centre in Port Hood is 7 p.m.
The Richmond Academy Hurricanes visit the Eskasoni Warriors in the Cape Breton West High School Hockey League.
It’s a match-up of the top team in five-team league versus the bottom team- the Hurricanes (4-1-1) are first with 13 points, a point up on second-place SAERC, while the Warriors (1-6-0) are last with three points, six points back of Inverness-Baddeck Academy for fourth.
Richmond Academy has won the first two games in the four-game season series.

The Dr. J.H. Gillis Royals host the Northumberland Nighthawks in the Northern Nova Scotia High School Hockey League.
The teams are at the bottom of the five-team league- the Royals (1-3-1) are last with three points, a point-and-a-half back of the Nighthawks (1-6-2) for fourth.
