The Battle of Cape Breton resumes following the Christmas break in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League.
The Cape Breton West Islanders host the Cape Breton Tradesmen.
The Islanders (11-14-1), who snapped a two-game losing streak in their last game before the break, are fifth in the eight-team league with 23 points, six points behind Dartmouth and the Valley, the two teams tied for third, and five points ahead of sixth-place South Shore; the Tradesmen (7-16-2) are seventh with 16 points.
Cape Breton West has won two of the first three games in the six-game season series.
