Netflix Canada has announced a price increase for some users. When you sign up, you choose between 3 plans.
The price for the basic plan, which lets you watch on 1 screen at a time at a lower resolution, will stay at $9.99/month.
The price for the standard plan, that gives you the option to stream on 2 screens at the same time in high def, will go up by 1 dollar and be $14.99/month.
The premium plan, which lets you stream on 4 screens at the same time in ultra HD, 4K video, will jump by 2 dollars and land at $18.99/month.
The price increases will take place immediately for new users and current customers will be notified about the change by email and the Netflix app 30 days before the new prices are applied to them.
