The Cabot Highlanders will try to finish off the top-ranked Basin Armada in the Nova Scotia U16 AAA Hockey League playoffs.
The Highlanders, who won the first two games of the best-of-five, second-round series in Bedford April 10-11, host the Armada in game three.

A win sends the Highlanders to the league final against the Kings, who swept the Voyageurs in three straight in the other semi-final; a loss forces a game four in the series in Port Hawkesbury Saturday night.
The Antigonish Rural Hockey League final resumes.
The St. Croix Angels square off with the Pleasantdale Panthers.
The Panthers won the opening game in the best-of-seven, second-round series; the Angels won games two and three to take a 2-1 series lead.

Game four is in Antigonish Saturday night.
The Cape Breton Eagles host River Denys’ Colten Ellis, Antigonish’s Sean Stewart and the Charlottetown Islanders in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The Eagles (12-24-1), losers of five straight and 12 of the last 13, are last in the six-team Maritimes Division in terms of points percentage, behind Moncton for fifth; the Islanders (33-5-0) are in top spot in the division, and the entire 18-team league.
Charlottetown leads the season series 12-2.
