Nova Scotia is grappling with a surge in COVID-19 cases amid an outbreak linked to St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish.
Residents will hear from Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang at 3 p.m. on Monday.
Strang will be joined by Premier Tim Houston and Health and Wellness Minister Michelle Thompson.
Meantime, the province has brought back its weekend COVID-19 updates due to the outbreak.
A total of 240 cases were reported between Saturday and Sunday, of those, 127 are in the Halifax region and 94 in the Antigonish area.
Public Health says some of the cases are being reported in the Halifax area because of the address on a student’s health card.
