Nova Scotia’s premier and top doctor are getting ready to give the latest details on the Omicron wave of COVID-19.
Premier Tim Houston and Dr. Robert Strang will hold an update on Wednesday and will be joined by Public Health’s Vice-President of Medicine.
The province reported another COVID-19 related death on Tuesday, a man in his 80s who passed away in the Halifax region.

There were 15 new hospitalizations with 58 people now in hospital.
The update comes as students are set to return to in-person learning on Monday.
