You won’t see any more potential COVID-19 exposure notices from Public Health.
Health officials say they no longer have the necessary information to report accurate exposure sites and locations.
Most Nova Scotians who test positive for COVID-19 are now responsible for reaching out to their close contacts.
Public Health says Omicron is widespread and the risk of transmission of the virus is high everywhere.
Nova Scotians are reminded to continue following public health measures to prevent its spread.
These measures include:
– Wear a three-layer properly fitting mask
– Stay six feet away from others
– Wash your hands often (or use hand sanitizer)
– Follow gathering limits
– If feeling unwell, stay home and book a COVID-19 test
You are required to book a COVID-19 test if you have symptoms or if you are a close contact of someone who has tested positive.
