Nova Scotians are set to hear from the premier and top doctor on Wednesday for a COVID-19 update.
Premier Tim Houston and Dr. Robert Strang will hold the briefing at 3 p.m.

The province has reported ten new COVID-19 related deaths since the weekend.
“I offer my deepest condolences to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one,” says Premier Tim Houston in a news release. “This virus has taken a lot from us, but we must stay vigilant. We need to slow down our activities, get vaccinated when we can whether that’s a first, second or booster dose and strictly follow the public health measures in place.”
Twenty-seven Nova Scotians have died from the virus so far this month.
There are currently 92 people in the hospital receiving specialized care for COVID-19, including 15 in intensive care.
Meantime, there are 92 people who identified as positive during intake or were admitted for the coronavirus, but no longer need specialized care.
There are 120 patients who contracted the virus while in hospital.
